Raised in Taiwan, Yen-hao Chu grew up surrounded by the serene beauty of her father’s Chinese antique collection. From a young age, she was drawn to the quiet elegance of Eastern aesthetics—a sensibility that continues to shape her creative vision today.

After graduating from the Master’s program at ECAL (École cantonale d'art de Lausanne), Switerland. Yen-hao spent years designing refined lighting and furniture—celebrated for their clean lines and subtle Eastern grace. Her work effortlessly blends tradition and modernity, resulting in pieces that feel both timeless and contemporary.

Everything changed one night when she fell asleep holding a crystal—and felt its energy move through her. That moment sparked a deep curiosity about the invisible power of minerals. She spent years quietly studying crystals, natural stones, and their energetic properties, becoming a calm and intuitive expert in the field.

That journey led to the creation of OVYENN, her jewelry brand rooted in the energy of gemstones. Each piece is designed not only to be beautiful, but also to help you feel more balanced, grounded, and connected.

Now based in France, Yen-hao continues to weave together Eastern elegance and energetic intention—offering jewelry that speaks to the soul, as well as the eye.
